In what appears to be an effort to appeal to the inspector community, the author has amended the bill to extend the deadline for proposed implementation of AB 2966 to January 1, 2013.

This latest amended delay seems to acknowlege that AB 2966 is a non-urgent bill that does nothing to improve the seismic safety of hospitals for the public nor the integrity of the Alquist Act of 1983. Click here for more information!
