As an Emergency Management Specialist, you will be responsible for executing disaster response and recovery efforts. This announcement will be used to fill multiple positions within the Region Nine area located in Oakland, CA, Sacramento, CA, Pasadena, CA, Honolulu, HI, and Saipan. Salary will be based upon the locality pay area for the duty station.

Appointment type: Term - Temporary - Not to Exceed 2 Years

Work Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: $43,256 to $117,669 per year (based on locality and years of experience/education)

Responsibilities include:

Providing technical guidance to communities and governmental partners on emergency management policies.Assisting in the delivery of support services to individuals and communities.Collaborating with functional counterparts to resolve problems and ensure proper delivery of assistance.Providing coordination, guidance, and assistance to internal and external stakeholders to ensure the capability to continue essential functions.Providing technical assistance used in the development of recovery work plans and project implementation.
