HVAC Fan System Operation
Eli P. Howard, SMACNA Director of Technical Resources will provide a presentation on HVAC Fan System Operation as well as provide a demonstration of a small fan "system" that allows participants to see how fitting selection/system effect/equipment selection all have a major
impact on energy usage in an air distribution system. This live presentation allows
designers/architects/contractors to see the "specification in operation".

Low Global Warming Potential
Eli P. Howard will provide a presentation on the topic of Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) Refrigerants and how State, U.S. and Global Regulations of Refrigerants affect the HVAC
marketplace.
Session Ill -(approximately 1 ½ hours)
Title 24 Compliance
Chris Ruch, National Energy Management Institute, Director of Training (NEMI) will present a comprehensive history of Title 24 Compliance requirements and the California 2019 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, effective January 1, 2020.
Session IV -(approximately 1 hours)
Fire Life Safety
Soph Davenberry, NEMIC, will provide an in-depth overview of Fire Life Safety as well as Fire and Smoke Damper certification and scope.
